I am in Lethbridge, Alberta and while I see clients in-person in Lethbridge, I also see clients online throughout Alberta including Calgary and Edmonton.
It’s just like in-person therapy, except in the comfort of your own home! A link to the telehealth session will be sent to you via email once an appointment is scheduled. Simply click the link at the time of your appointment and we can begin!
Yes, most of my clients in Lethbridge see me in-person and I have had my online clients from Calgary drive to see me in-person at times.
My base rate is $150 for a 50 min session. If you are looking for sessions after 4:00 that rate goes up by $25.00
I also offer 75 min session for $200 with the same $25.00 increase for evening sessions.
An intake session is a 50 minute appointment with your provider to get to know you and what goals you have for therapy.
Length of therapy varies by client and depends on goals set in therapy. Typically clients see me bi-weekly for 8-10 sessions, then go to monthly, and do occasional check-in or maintenance appointments throughout the year as needed. If you are doing trauma work the therapy may be more extensive.
Late Cancellation is defined within 24 hours of your session at the time your session is scheduled to begin. Any late cancellations or no-shows will result in half fee payment for the missed session.
Defining Moments Counselling understands that sometimes things are out of our control or emergency situations happen that will result in a missed appointment. Due to this, one free pass for a missed appointment will be given each year when these unexpected circumstances occur.
If it is an emergency please go to the nearest hospital, call 911, or the suicide hotline 988. Defining Moments Counselling is unable to respond to urgent or emergency situations outside of business hours. Yes, I currently do direct billing for your insurance company. I offer this for Alberta Blue Cross, Canada Life, Group Source, Chambers, and Desjardins.
